loveathon

Hosted by Alexa of Alexa Loves Books, Cee of The Novel HermitHazel of Stay Bookish, & Mel of The Daily ProphecyLove-A-Thon is an event—a lovefest—that is dedicated to spreading positivity and love. It’s time dedicated to visiting other bloggers/Instagrammers/BookTubers, leaving a comment or two, making new friends and fostering positivity among the members of our amazing community.

This was a BookTubers challenge but a lot of bloggers went ahead and did it anyways just for fun! The only thing you  have to do is pick a book based on the colour of the spine. Here we go!

red

RED: Flip to page 119, and find the first line of the third paragraph. This line is the first sentence of a book about you.

“I saw the prince when I was in Os Alta.”

Ruin & Rising by Leigh Bardugo

This seems accurate. I do love princes.

orange

ORANGE: Flip to page 3. The first name you see when you crack open the book is your book BFF.

Jill

The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead

I do love Jill. She’s adorable.

yellow

YELLOW: Flip to page 185. The first body part mentioned is where your superpower is.

“My brain buzzed.”

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

There’s so many different superpowers I could have that involve my brain! how exciting!

green

GREEN: Flip to page 238. The first place mentioned is where your book is set.

Morrighan

The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson

I could work with this. It seems like a beautiful place.

blue

BLUE: Flip to page 45. The first name you see when you crack open the book is your book boyfriend/girlfriend.

Alexius

Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes

Well i can’t say I’m a fan haha. But I’ll take it I guess.

purple

PURPLE: Flip to page 77. The first adjective used describes your book boyfriend.

Weird

Until I Die by Amy Plum

Haha ok then! Not to bad!

pink

PINK: Flip to page 94. The first name you see is your fictional nemesis.

Lily

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot

I can see how this would become a thing. It works.

brown

BROWN: Flip to page 216. The first object you see is your weapon of choice.

Clay soldier

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Can my toy soldier move and do things? Because that would be pretty cool.

black

BLACK: Flip to pages 198, 228 & 146, and find one name on each page. These people will be your apocalypse squad.

Mustang, Cassius, and Julian

Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Honestly, any character in this book would be perfect but I’m glad I get Mustang.

white

WHITE: Flip to page 28, and find the second sentence of the fifth paragraph. This is last thing you will ever say.

“Hey, I thought I was your best friend!”

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

Hahaha! This sounds like my BFF is stabbing me in the back or something. I’d better watch out.
