This survey was created by Jamie @ The Perpetual Page-Turner so go check out her blog if you want to do the survey too! I did add in a few extra questions that I thought seemed fun though so mine’s a teeny bit different. Let’s start with stats!

The Stats

128 books. (As of the 26th anyways)

I’m too lazy to go through and count but I’d guess somewhere between 10 and 15.

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

This book was way too hyped up and it was just a let down for me.

 3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

I thought Cassandra Clare would ruin this series but I shouldn’t have doubted Holly Black. It was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be.

Ink by Amanda Sun

I really loved this trilogy and I don’t think it gets enough love!

Winter by Marissa Meyer

I just really love this series.

12. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2015?

Have you seen it? I bought it mostly for the cover.

13. Most memorable character of 2015?

Nimona from Nimona by Noelle Stevenson

I love this character to death. I think she’s hilarious.

14. Most beautifully written book read in 2015?

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen

She just has this way of making you feel all these emotions.

15. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2015?

Between Shade of Grey by Ruta Sepetys

It makes you wonder about all the things that happen around the world that we don’t know about.

 16. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2015 to finally read?

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

She has so many books that I need to read. I can’t believe I haven’t read more of her books!

“It can take years to mold a dream. It takes only a fraction of a second for it to be shattered.” ~ Mary E. Pearson

Stories are wild creatures, the monster said. When you let them loose, who knows what havoc they might wreak?” ~ Patrick Ness

Tied for first place. There were too many good quotes.

Shortest: A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

Longest: Winter by Marissa Meyer

19. Book That Shocked You The Most

Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern

I was not expecting the ending parts of this book.

20. OTP OF THE YEAR (you will go down with this ship!)

Anna and Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss.

I think they’re adorable.

21. Favorite Non-Romantic Relationship Of The Year

Aria and Roar from Under the Never Sky

I loved Roar and I loved how his relationship with Aria wasn’t romantic even a little bit.

22. Favorite Book You Read in 2015 From An Author You’ve Read Previously

The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black

I’m really loving Holly Black right now. She has such creepy books but they’re so addicting!

23. Best Book You Read In 2015 That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else/Peer Pressure:

Alice in Zombieland series by Gena Showalter

The first book was a reread but I continued on with the series because Sarah @ Kerosene Lit was reading it too and she mentioned a really hot boy.

24. Newest fictional crush from a book you read in 2015?

Cole from Alice in Zombieland

He’s the new Daemon Black for me.

29. Hidden Gem Of The Year?

Ink by Amanda Sun

Why haven’t more people read this?!

30. Book That Crushed Your Soul?

Winter by Marissa Meyer

I can’t believe it’s over! While it wasn’t the most unique ending, it was very satisfying for me.

31. Most Unique Book You Read In 2015?

City of the Lost by Kelley Armstrong

Not because of the story, though that was great too, but because of the format. She released part of the book in e-format every week, forcing us readers to wait it out for the next part. It drove me crazy but it was pretty cool.

32. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

I just feel like she’s pushing this series too far. You can’t make a story go on forever. There needs to be a clear ending and there just isn’t one with this series. I still feel obligated to read them all though even though I’m finding them getting worse and worse.

33. Best Book to Movie Adaptation?

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

I’m really liking the Maze Runner movies so far.
