Monthly Wrap Up: November 2016

As I write this we’re anticipating our first snow storm! Nothing major of course, it’s too early for that, but 15 cm is what they’re calling for if it doesn’t turn to rain. So December could start off with a pretty layer of snow or a big pile of slush. While I try not to think about that, here’s what happened last month. THREE EXCITING THINGS THAT HAPPENED LAST MONTH Christmas decorating! My tree and lights are all up and everything looks so festive! My blog is back up and running! As I’m sure you’ve noticed by reading this. I’m […]

Blog Tour: Under A Million Stars by Rita Branches

Blog Tour: Under A Million Stars by Rita Branches

Hello and welcome to my tour stop for the Under a Million Stars Blog Tour. Under A Million Stars is a young adult contemporary novel published August 8th! You can see the full list of blogs for this tour here. You can see my full review here, but here’s a recap! Who I’d Recommend To: I’d recommend this to any YA romance lovers who love complicated relationships. There’s nothing easy about the romance in this book and I think that’s why I loved it so much. It felt so real to me! Also if you’re a fan of gorgeous writing then pick this book […]

Summer Blogger Promo Tour: Book Quiz with Jess

Hey everyone! Today I’m excited to host Jess @ Princessica of Books for a fun little book quiz that I made up! She had to guess the books based off of a quote, three word descriptions, and a book cover slice. Let’s see how she did: Guess the book based off of a quote: 1. “I’m right and you’re wrong, I’m big and you’re small, and there’s nothing you can do about it.” Jess says: Matilda! I remember this scene; I genuinely have so much love for this one–it’s one of the first books that got me into reading. Correct! Good guess! […]

Book TAG: Pokemon Go Book Tag

I’m sure you’re all well aware of Pokemon Go by now. You can have your own opinion but please no hate or judgment here please! I was not a pokemon fan when I was younger. I liked the movies but the game could never hold my interest and I got bored easily. I still have that problem today so I’m glad that this game doesn’t bore me and I’m actually able to get out of the house more to play the game. I’m currently obsessed with catching them all. This tag was created by Aentee @ Read at Midnight so […]

Blog Design: It Matters! – Free Font Ressources

As part of my Blog Design: It Matters feature, I wanted to share with you some of my favourite places to find free fonts. These websites aren’t necessarily the best or worst, they’re just my go to’s to find some fresh new fonts. There’s also tons of websites where you can buy fonts as well. This is one of those “you pay what you get for” cases. If you’re a designer and you need beautiful fonts that are 100% adjustable, then it’s better for you to buy some great quality fonts. But for first time designers and bloggers who are […]
