Wanderlust Wednesday: Africa Edition

When I think of Africa I always think of the cool animals that live there and I think going on an African safari would be really cool. Hopefully one day that dream comes true!

My arrival day post included some great books set in India including the Akata Witch series by Nnedi Okorafor and Unicorn Tracks by Julia Ember. There’s actually a surprising amount of books (even YA!) that are set in Africa. I know I’d added quite a few to my tbr!

Are there restaurants that serve African food? If so, there’s sadly none where I live which is disappointing to me. We have a culture festival every year here and I’m lucky enough to get to see and meet a lot of these people but I’ve never tried the food! During my research I came across things like Piri Piri Chicken which looks yummy and some great sea food dishes that I’d love to try!

Obviously I couldn’t not mention how epic The Lion King is.
