Wanderlust Wednesday: Japan Edition

I’m so in love with Japan right now. It’s all because I read Ink by Amanda Sun and I got to learn about their mythology while being pushed into the middle of modern day Japan. I loved everything about it! Here’s some more Japan thins I love.

My arrival day post included some great books set in Japan including The Paper Gods series by Amanda Sun which I named my best read from 2015. I’m also really looking forward to reading Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff and The Girl from the Well by Rin Chupeco.

I think ramen is something everyone has mostly tried before. I have yet to taste more delicious ramen than Mr Noodles though and I’d love to. I’ve also tried sushi but haven’t found any I’ve liked yet though some of it has been ok. I actually went to a teppanyaki grill about a year ago which I really enjoyed. Not only was the food great but the chef was having a great time.

My Neighbor Totoro used to play on tv a ton when I was little. It scared me at first but I’ve come to love it.
