PToday’s character is a favourite of many. He easily captured our hearts from the first pages. This whole series is getting some hate recently because the author keeps continuing on instead of finishing the stories. I completely understand but I think I’ll still always love this particular trilogy. It’s hard not to when you’ve got characters like this.

If you didn’t guess it, this is Jem from The Infernal Devices Trilogy by Cassandra Clare. This particular piece was done by PhantomRin who does tons of fanart from different books. We share a lot of favourites and it’s nice to see some of those characters being brought to life. I always had a little bit of a soft spot for Jem. I liked his story but I was disappointed at the very end of it. It feels like he cheated in a way but I loved him up until the epilogue of The Infernal Devices. He was just such a great friend and a good person in general, which made him easy to read about. We need more people like him in real life.

In a time when Shadowhunters are barely winning the fight against the forces of darkness, one battle will change the course of history forever. Welcome to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a stunning and dangerous prequel to the New York Times bestselling Mortal Instruments series.

The year is 1878. Tessa Gray descends into London’s dark supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying Shadowhunters—including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. Soon they find themselves up against the Pandemonium Club, a secret organization of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans. Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them…

“It’s all right to love someone who doesn’t love you back, as long as they’re worth you loving them. As long as they deserve it.”
