K

It was surprisingly easy to find a K piece. I’m glad because some of these letters get really hard. What’s the first character you think of when you think of the letter K? I know this is mine! I think this piece is meant more of a funny and cute piece so that’s why I added into this post. It’s also a mashup of two fandoms so if you can guess the other one let me know in the comments below! Think hard now!

This piece was created by Maxbeat on DeviantArt. Isn’t it fantastic?! I love how adorable Dany looks and she’s even wearing a dress from the show. I think I’d be wearing the same expression as her if this dragon was on my face too. Do you recognize him? For those who don’t know, this piece is referencing A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martinย and it’s showing one of my favourite characters! Who are your favourites?

11264999About A Game of Thrones

Summers span decades. Winter can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.

As Warden of the north, Lord Eddard Stark counts it a curse when King Robert bestows on him the office of the Hand. His honour weighs him down at court where a true man does what he will, not what he must โ€ฆ and a dead enemy is a thing of beauty.

The old gods have no power in the south, Starkโ€™s family is split and there is treachery at court. Worse, the vengeance-mad heir of the deposed Dragon King has grown to maturity in exile in the Free Cities. He claims the Iron Throne.

“I will take what is mine with fire and blood.”

  1. I am not familiar with the Game of Thrones because it is not the genre I usually read, but I get the addiction to reading. I love a good book, but my interests run along historical fiction and history texts. I also love novels set in England and India. The artwork is very cool, by the way.

    • If you like fantasy books then try the Tiger’s Curse by Colleen Houck because a lot of that series takes place in India and we learn tons of mythology. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Blog hopping from North Carolina during the #Challenge. What would we do without our books? I’ve written two, am and addicted reader, and love meeting other bloggers. If you have time or interest, my theme this year is hotels and inns. Care to do some arm chair traveling when not reading yourself?
