Hello everyone! It’s Thursday and that means it’s Book Traveling Thursday time! For those of you that don’t know, Book Traveling Thursday is a feature created by Catia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. The goal is to show off beautiful covers and also different covers from around the world. You can join the GoodReads group if this is something you’d like to participate in.
This week’s theme is: Father’s Day is celebrated in a couple of days in a few countries! Choose a book with a awesome father figure. So Father’s Day for me isn’t until June but since this feature celebrates different places around the world, I think it was a great idea to feature Father’s Day this month. Some countries that celebrate it in March are: Italy, Belgium, Bolivia, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and a few others. So happy Father’s Day to dads in those areas!
This week I’m choosing to feature a godfather, who also happens to be one of my favourites: Sirius Black. He wasn’t the greatest godfather sometimes but he was still that father figure that Harry desperately needed. He’s also awesome so that helped with my decision this week.
CANADIAN (FRENCH) COVERS
I actually really love the new designs. Those are the ones I’m collecting now.
I love those new Bloomsbury editions. I’m slowly collecting them all. These new eBook editions are gorgeous too!
LEAST FAVOURITE COVERS
These are the German and Dutch editions. They both seem pretty old so I’m sure they have newer versions too.
I feel bad that I’m picking a lot of English editions but there’s just so many! These are: the English Scholastic edition, English signature edition, English adult edition (which was my first edition!!), and the Spanish edition.
