die for meBook: Die for Me by Amy Plum
Song: Leave Your Lover by Sam Smith
Lyrics: Oh, I’m in love with you and you will never know
I’m not going to say why I picked this one because it’s kind of a spoiler. Let’s just say that there’s another guy that’s in love with our main character and it’s the cutest thing ever.

ย nowhere but hereBook: Nowhere But Here by Katue McGarry
Song: Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran
Lyrics: We are surrounded by all of these lies And people who talk too much
This is a beautiful song paired with a beautiful book. These lyrics especially apply to this book because there’s sort of a big mystery about the main character’s family and there’s tons of lies and hiding the truth.

22844202Book: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Song: All About You by Birdy
Lyrics: Here I am still holding on youโ€™re finding ways to break the bonds, theyโ€™re stronger than you realize
This song reminds me of how Ginny is so tough and brave and wants to help Harry out so badly but she lets him work everything out his way. I just really love Ginny.
heart of betrayalBook: The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson
Song: Steal my Girl by One Direction
Lyrics: Everybody wanna steal my girl Everybody wanna take her heart away
Is it bad that I’m laughing at myself for this one. I’m hilarious guys. Ok but really, I picked this song because everything seems to point to Lia and Rafe being together but there’s so many other relationships happening with her. We don’t really know who she’ll end up with!
alice in zombielandBook: Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
Song: DNA by Little Mix
Lyrics: No scientist or biology It’s obvious when he’s holding me
This is one of those couples that are just plain meant to be together. Going with the lyrics in the song, it’s just in their DNA. They’re perfect and are supposed to be together
obsidianBook: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Song: Light Me Up by Birdy
Lyrics: You light me up When all I see is darkness You light me up When I’m down
Guys. I’m hilarious. Light me up? Get it? HA! I’m sure you can guess that this song is about someone who “lights” you up when you’re down. I just chose to take that very literally. Hehehe
the eliteBook: The Elite by Kiera Cass
Song: XO by Emblem3
Lyrics: You called me, said he broke your heart again Won’t you let me pick up the pieces?
This kind of reminds me of the back and forth between Maxon and Aspen and it kind of drives me insane. But this song still works!
winterBook: Winter by Marissa Meyer
Song: Paper Moon by Our Lady Peace
Lyrics: Comes a time when you get turned around and, Life itself just wears you out but, You keep gettin’ ready for the big parade.
This song reminds me about what Cinder’s going through in this last book. She finds out all this crazy stuff about her and then is expected to save the world basically. What a tough time.
StarcrossedBook: Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
Song: Secret Love Song by Little Mix
Lyrics: Why can’t you hold me in the street? Why can’t I kiss you on the dance floor? I wish that it could be like that Why can’t we be like that? Cause I’m yours
The two main characters in this book kind of have a forbidden romance thing going on and that’s why this song reminds me of them.
this song will save your lifeBook: This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
Song: Me & The Rhythm by Selena Gomez
Lyrics: Yeah all I need Is the rhythm, me and the rhythm Nothing between Yeah the rhythm, me and the rhythm
This book is about a girl who becomes a dj to get her through a rough patch in her life which fits with this song because it’s all about the music.
