Booktube-a-Thon: Reading Challenges

Posted July 31, 2015 in Uncategorized / Leave a comment!

I’m super excited to participate in Booktube-a-thon for the second year in a row! For those who don’t know, Booktube-a-thon is a week long read-a-thon where you try and read as much as you can! There’s also mini challenges each day where you can win a book and there’s a reading challenge for the whole week. Usually you have to post videos for these challenges but I don’t have a booktube account so I’ll be doing them for fun here. This post is about the reading challenges and which books I plan on reading for each one.

The challenges:
1// Read a book with blue on the cover
princess diaries 2
Princess Diaries 2ย by Meg Cabot
2// Read a book by an author who shares the same first letter of your last name
princess diaries 3
Princess Diariesย 3ย by Meg Cabot
3// Read someone else’s favourite book
Unknown right now. What’s your favourite book?
4// Read the last book you acquired
princess diaries 4
Princess Diaries 4ย by Meg Cabot
5// Finish a book without letting go of it
city of the lost
City of The Lost Part 6 by Kelley Armstrong
6// Read a book you really want to read
princess diaries
Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
7// Read seven books
the boys of summer
The Boys of Summer by C.J. Duggan

Can you see a theme? I’m trying to stick with smaller books so I can complete the goals. We’ll see though! I hope you all participate too! Let me know if you are so I can make a note to visit your blog or booktube channel next week!

Those City of the Lost books have the most beautiful covers! Good luck with your challenge ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Cool books! I wasn’t sure if I was going to do it this year, but if someone else is doing it without a booktube channel, I think I am going to do it. Do you happen to know the exact dates?

  3. Good luck with reading!! All the books you’ve chosen sound like good reads!! My favourite book is probably The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson! I loved this post! -A x
