Bout of Books 13: Day 1 Challenge

Today is the start of Bout of Books 13. If you didn’t see my sign up post go here and check it out. It’s basically a week long readathon with challenges and fun stuff. I know I’m not going to get a lot of reading done this week but I am trying! If you’re interested you can still sign up! Go here and follow the instructions, you have until Wednesday!

Today’s challenge is hosted by Writing my own Fairy TaleΒ and it’s the Bookish Survey Challenge. It’s an easy one to start off the week because all you have to do is answer some questions. Let’s get started!

1. How do you organize your shelves?

I reorganize my shelves all the time. I have to because I just keep getting more books. Currently, they’re organized by colour so it looks like a rainbow. It’s so nice to look at.

2. What is one of your favourite book that’s not in one of your favourite genres?

Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh. I’m loving the whole series so far. It’s in the romance section at the book store but there’s lot of supernatural elements too which is why I think I love it.

3. What is the last 5 star book you read?

The Walking Dead Volume 11. I love reading these. Way better than the TV show.

4. What book are you most excited to read during the read-a-thon?

I’m excited to start reading The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead. I’m in love with the series already. Also I want to finish The Divners by Libba Bray.

5. What book do you recommend the most?

Recently, it’s Red Rising by Pierce Brown. I love that book so much.

What did you guys answer? Who’s all participating? Let me know!

Whoa its pretty awesome that all your shelves are organised by colour. I am loving the Bloodline series too, hope you enjoy The Golden Lily! πŸ™‚

  2. I love TWD TV-show but I’m dying to get my hands on the graphic novels, but they are so expensive and I’m just a poor student haha! Maybe one day πŸ™‚

    • I hear ya. I save up for them haha. They’re cheapest on Amazon if you buy a few because then the shipping is worth it. Anywheres else they’re like $20 each.

  3. I’ve never read any TWD comic book. But I’ve been wanting to. If they are better than the TV show – which I like very much -, I should hurry up and take a look. πŸ™‚

    Happy readings!
