Joffery from A Storm of Swords
While this isn’t a supernatural creature, it is a common character in fantasy books. Plus we don’t really have kings of each country any more so they’re kind of not real. Good reasoning right?
If you’ve read or seen Game of Thrones you’re probably thinking why did you pick Joffery? He’s horrible! I agree completely. He’s easily one of my most hated characters but that’s what makes him so good! The fact that the author can make the entire world hate this one character so much, is pure talent. Plus you can’t deny that the character himself is incredible. Sure he’s horrible and I wanted to kill him myself, but he had so much detail! You know it’s a good character when you feel so much while reading about them! Anyone agree? Or is this just me?
Summary: Of the five contenders for power, one is dead, another in disfavor, and still the wars rage as alliances are made and broken. Young Robb still rules the North from the fortress of Riverrun. Meanwhile, making her way across a blood-drenched continent is the exiled queen, Daenerys, mistress of the only three dragons still left in the world. And as opposing forces manoeuver for the final showdown, an army of barbaric wildlings arrives from the outermost limits of civilization, accompanied by a horde of mythical Others—a supernatural army of the living dead whose animated corpses are unstoppable.
