New Arrivals to my Shelves

After about a month of not buying any books, I finally saved up some money to buy some. These are books that I physically bought from stores because the ones i bought online haven’t come in yet. Here’s what I got.

  • I am Number Four – Pittacus Lore

I bought these at a thrift shop and they’re in perfect condition. I was so excited!

  • Mary Poppins – P.L. Travers
  • Mary Poppins in the Park – P.L. Travers

I also got these at the thrift shop but I bought them because of the pretty covers. They’re so pretty!

  • Saga Vol 1 – Brian K. Vaughan
  • The Walking Dead Vol 6 – Robert Kirkman

I’m really trying to get into more graphic novels this year. So far all I read was The Walking Dead but I saw this Saga series getting a lot of attention recently.

  • Captain Canuck – Richard Comely

When I bought my graphic novels I got a free comic book. In the spirit of Canada Day, this is what they gave me. The most Canadian comic book of all time. There’s hockey, Saskwatch, the french prime minister, etc. EVerything you’d want in a Canadian comic book.

  1. The Canadian comic book looks amazing though since I’m not Canadian probably most of it would be lost on me! I’ll be interested to see what you think of the Mary Poppins books. I know a lot of people love them but the first didn’t quite live up to what I wanted it to be. The covers are great though! Have a great week!
