(note·wor·thy) : worthy of notice or attention;
This isn’t something really essential in a book but it’s essential in my favourite books. All my favourites have something really special about them. This goes for authors too. If I put a book on my favourites shelf and in a year I can’t remember what happened in it or why I liked it, it gets taken right back off! I HAVE to be able to remember a book in order to absolutely love it. And in order for me to remember it there has to be something special or unique about it PLUS all the other qualities I’ve been mentioning in this challenge.
Here’s some books and authors that really did it for me:
- The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks
- The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
- Eragon by Christopher Paolini
- Kelley Armstrong
All of these books really stuck with me over the years. I’ve reread them all and loved them just as much as the first time. I know I have a good book when I can reread it as many times as I want and still absolutely love it.
What is your absolute favourite book and authors? Let me know!
